schrijver

javier marías

A Writers' Europe had the honour to welcome Javier Marías on June 7th at Flagey. This exceptional
encounter - since the author rarely leaves his home country - launches the 3rd edition of the Marathon des Mots. Javier Marias has received countless literary awards and is widely regarded as a suitable candidate for the Nobel Prize for literature. His work has been translated into 40 languages, most notably The Man of Feeling, All Souls, A Heart So White, Tomorrow in the Battle Think on Me and the trilogy Your Face Tomorrow. The translation of his last romance, Los enamoramientos, will be published shortly.
