stedho

Stedho (Steven Dhondt, 1974) started out as an illustrator of children's books and picture books. After a short career as an architect he got into the world of comic strips. He likes paradoxes and it is his ambition to become one himself. His solo debut is the wordless comic strip, Ooievarken (Oogachtend, 2005).

Work in progress

Stedho's story for Brussels in Shorts is set on the Oude Graanmarkt, where a pitch-black box appears one winter's day, summoning up both desires and fears among the neighbourhood's tramps. Stedho stayed in Brussels from 20 to 26 February 2012.
